Evangelist Langford - Vocalist, Motivational Speaker and Evangelist
Evangelist Keeya Chapman-Langford is the wife of Brother Darnae H. Langford and a mother of four who loves the Lord and his people. She is very dedicated to ministry not forgetting that her first ministry is her home. She started out in ministry teaching Sunday school at just twelve years old. By the time she was fifteen she was preaching and teaching regularly in children’s church and as requested at other local assemblies for youth programs. At the age of 16 she preached her first official sermon under the Leadership of her Pastor Bishop E.C. Haywood, her sermon, “You Must be Totally Committed” from the book of Ruth. Although there was a call on her life she struggled with really understanding who she was. There were times that she wanted to be like everyone else and be accepted as just one of the crowd. But God had his hand on her and although she tried to stray, just as the Prodigal son, she had to return home. But prior to that return her life took many twist and turns allowing her to see many things and narrowly escape death on many occasions. For many years she carried hurts from abandonment, neglect, verbal, physical, and sexual abuse that kept her running in circles trying to figure out just who she was. Through those struggles she always knew deep down inside that God loved her, but the enemy would try to distort the picture and make her feel as though she was unworthy of his love. As God continued to deal with her she began to realize we are all sinners saved by God’s grace and the only difference between the sinner and the saint is the saint has accepted God’s love and made a decision to turn away from their wrong doings and live according to God’s will and his purpose for their life. And so, she turned.
